"Light up the Park"

Held the second Saturday in December, the Village Square in Pinckney comes alive with the sights and sounds of the holiday.  Santa and Mrs. Claus start the day by arriving via fire truck.  They then hold court in the beautiful gazebo turned gingerbread house.  For a small fee, have your photograph taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Stroll the park enjoying warm cocoa, hot coffee, cookies and even roasted chestnuts!

A petting zoo and Santa's reindeer are on hand and don't forget to catch a ride on a horse drawn surrey around beautiful downtown Pinckney.  After that, visit one of our many restaurants for a warm meal.  Pinckney offers numerous dining choices that can't be found anywhere else.  Take a short stroll to visit our unique merchants - you can find everything unique for holiday gift giving.  We offer everything from a good old fashioned hardware store (great for shopping for the men in your life) to fancy hand made chocolates and locally created art and decor' (great for the women in your life) - a few steps from the festivities.

Time:  12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Location:  Downtown Pinckney's Village Square
